Post Pandemic Tote

The creative approach of PPT rewrites the classic standards of the tote bag with a focus on conscious purchasing in the name of slow fashion. The quality of the recycled fabrics and the artisanal manufacturing techniques project the stylistic traits of customization in an abstract but contemporary dimension. PPT tells the story of a recycled handmade product that is created with fabrics recovered from deadstock. The collection, entirely made in Italy, ranges from military materials from warehouse stocks, fabrics sourced from the flea markets and other excess materials, all recovered and modified with new graphic motifs. The signature coloured straps are made of 100% regenerated threads, 70% cotton and the rest is synthetic.

Post Pandemic Future is Green

Unlike the traditional linear economy of make, use and dispose, the circular economy is restorative and regenerative by design. With the help of our suppliers we are contributing to a more sustainable fashion industry based on upcycling. We continue our green research and will implement initiatives to further reduce our environmental impact as a business.

Calculating PPT’s Positive Impact

We monitor the impact on the environment per drop and support our mission with numbers. In order to engage our PPC (Post Pandemic Community) in this cause we created a chart that calculates on average how many liters of water and kilograms of CO2 have been saved by upcycling the materials used in production of our products. We founded our calculator on data*, published by experts in the field of sustainability, that provides an average environmental impact of items based on their average composition and weight. That serves to give an indication of the environmental savings, carbon, water and waste, when someone upcycles a product or therefore materials used in it.

The mission of PPT is to support its community globally in pioneering the green mission by representing their values and priorities. PPT aims to drive positive change in the fashion industry and contribute to a more sustainable future at large.
